i have 313 on mine, just got back from work so just getting start again with this, got window making an usb install, i did just try linux from USB and it booted most of the way and then stopped but i have found that normal for an oldish image, should really get the new ones might work better, i have just flashed back the bios with the new microcode in it and will try to see if windows can fix its self lol

getting so close now, when done i can take a look at the t100tam bios but i cant tested it to see if it works, cant see it being miles different from the ta

    edit:
well windows installer will not boot, it just locks up at the logo with no spinning dots, so when all else fails got back to stock and try again, yep i am back rocking the stock BIOS now, so i must of broke some thing, lets start again

    edit:
so all this time i have been trying to update all of the microcodes in the bios, i have deleted them all now and only inserted 1 and thats for the cpu i have in this laptop and ...

    spectre.png

and now it works , my last try at all 3 made windows think i had an unsupported CPU which it just BSODed on boot now it boots, just need to work out how the hell do you combine all 3?

    Edit:
Well in my haste i have flashed wrong bios and now it will not boot at all, just hocked me programmer up to it and the magic blue smoke came out of my programmer so need a new one now so this is on hold untill that come.

    That sucks.
The programmer connects to the motherboard or you have to un-solder chips & put them into the programmer?
    I have the same cpu (Z3775) & CPUID (30678)

I wouldn't want to brick mine with a bad flash.

TA & TAM aren't on this list, but all others are scheduled for June, 2018 release.

i just solder some wires to the motherboard and flash that way, they do have 5 nice pads to connect to and just the ground goes to and thing metal in the laptop.
The big problem is most programers use 5v or 3v3, the flash chip on these is 2v (well spec sheet says 1.65v to 1.95v) so i have to use a level converter the sits between the programer and the MB.

Just have to wait for a new programer to turn up, hell this one is years old and has been abused.

From what i can see the bioses look almost the same, the microcode bit is the same, once i find out how to update all 3 then i will be happy, but like i said if all you just want is the microcode just for your cpu then it works well on the ta as proven.

Might take a look at that new bios when it comes out should give me some points on how to do it right

Just had a proper look on that site and i dont see any t100 on there?

That's because they are not listed. Only T101HA, T102HA, T103HAF; no other T10x's. Wouldn't surprise me if others pop up in June.

It looks like the T101HA BIOS is done. Version 305 2018/05/08. Probably a 64-bit version.

T102HA is not yet available. Latest is still ver. 303.

Will take a look when i get i am free, we will see if they will update the older t100 line, but untill that happens i will keep on playing.

But end game is to get stable 64bit, i have been looking at upgrading the ram too, would be cool to have 4gb of ram installed.

I really hate waiting wonder if i could use the spi bus on the rpi to flashthe chip.... will have to look in to that one

For the cost & trouble, just get a T101HA. It already has 4GB RAM & all is 64-bit including Win10.
I was told the T100 doesn't have an SPI Bus.

You can get a Chuwi Hi10 Pro for half the price of a comparable Asus.
They are all dual-boot, Windows & Android. & have full HD screens.

    Google Winbond W25Q64FWIG

Dont know why hwinfo says that that ship is spi so it must have some sort of spi bus, could be because that flash chip is the only thing using it?

Edit: ops we have been told off

    Edit:
Well the rpi can see and flash the chip yay, so thats a win
