T100HA no touch at all issue

    Hello
I recently bought a used T100ha which was working good for a two months. Suddenly touch stopped working. I tried everything I could find on this and related forums but nothing helped. Finally, I reinstalled WIN 10. But nothing! It is still showing Code 10 problem in device manager, I2C HID ," the device cannot start, A request for the HID descriptor failed".
Is there any solution ? Please?
    Thanks

Your first thing to try is to go to the ASUS support and get the drivers. Remove the ones on the PC and install the new ones. If you are not able to remove the old ones try installing the new ones over the old ones.

Well, sending my transformer to USA is not an option regarding exprenses.
Anyhow, I finally found the trouble.. not solved yet completly, anyway.
My transformer has a hardware issue. If I restart t100ha and leave it half an hour on, touchscreen starts working. So I considered hardware. I oppened it, disconected all flat (flex) cables related to touchscreen, cleaned contacts of cables, and few days working good. Beleve that it will happend again as soon cables develop another bad contact so from now on , I have to find what cable is making trouble. Thanks again and hope that it will help someone

If it happens again and you pin it down to a single connector there is a contact protector spray or liquid (been a long time since I used some so can't remember which), that prevents corrosion or moisture from causing issues. You may have to do some internet searching to find some but beats having to open the TF all the time.
