Connect to hard drive in Dock

Independent surf and skate niche stores have sales growth in the growing curiosity about adventure sports for example in-line skating, skateboarding, biking and mountain climbing. https://github.com/skateszone/skate/...Beginners-2017

Most of the youthful consumers thinking about extreme sports reject mainstream retailers and like to look at small stores rather of at chains as well as in malls. Several smaller sized retailers discuss trends in sports shoe sales.

Though sports footwear and sports stores and outside retailers have reported a small uptick in footwear sales because of the boost in extreme sports, the actual beneficiaries from the trend are independent surf and skate niche stores.

Some West Coast surf and skate shops stated teenagers and more youthful Generation Xers are not only seen rejecting traditional sports, but they are also shunning mainstream retailers and malls in support of smaller sized niche shops transporting hard-to-come-by brands.

Eddie Miyoshi, district manager at Atomic Garage, a 3-store chain located in Gardena, Calif., stated the soaring recognition of skateboard footwear has boosted the retailer's total footwear business 20-30 % this season, in contrast to '95.

Skate footwear presently represent 80-90 % of Atomic Garage's shoe sales, while 2 yrs ago, Dr. Martens and Timberland drove the retailer's footwear business.

Like many retailers, Miyoshi pointed to Airwalk because the trend's catalyst.

However when Airwalk broadened its distribution to bigger chains, that are frequently situated in malls, not every skate shoe customers adopted. Rather, many youthful males have switched towards the skate shops for additional elusive brands like Etnies, Duffs, and Electricity Footwear by Circus. By refusing to market bigger retailers or sports stores, these brands are growing their cachet among youthful consumers.

"Kids do not want stuff that have been in the department stores,Inch Miyoshi added.

Searching ahead, Miyoshi forecasted skate shoe sales will stay strong through spring '97 provided "the [hot] vendors don't auction other [non-specifically shop] retailers."

"Skaters and non-skaters are rebelling against mainstream retailers on and on to surf and skate shops for various looks," echoed Mark Richards, co-who owns Val Surf, a 3-store chain located in North Hollywood, Calif. Soaring sales of skate footwear have driven total footwear receipts up 25 % this season in contrast to '95.

"The amount of that increase could be related to the exposure of maximum games? I'm not sure. [Skate footwear] also are actually the appearance at this time,Inch Richards acknowledged. And with regards to experienceing this right look, youthful customers can be quite picky.skateboarding.school.learning.jpg

"Skateboard footwear might be a huge category for all of us, but we can not obtain the brands, Etnies, Duffs, Electricity and Nice, simply because they will not sell us," stated Mark Anderson, buyer at Chick's Sports, a six-store chain in Covina, Calif. "We've people arriving every single day requesting them." Consequently, skate footwear have consistently continued to be about five percent of Chick's overall footwear business. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/what-...et-skates-zone

Nevertheless, some outside, niche sports and sports retailers are noting the increasing recognition and coverage of maximum sports is getting a modest effect on footwear sales. Trailrunning footwear and approach/outside crosstrainers would be the two groups benefiting the best from the popularity. As with the skate shoe business, some retailers observe that styling instead of function frequently drives sales of those footwear.

"At this time the merchandise is much more visual than function," stated Chet James, gm of Super Jock 'N Jill, San antonio, talking about trailrunning footwear. Still, James noted the present hype over adventure sports helps draw more customer traffic. "The marketing campaigns and media help bring more and more people in, however they frequently go out with something which works more effectively on their behalf,Inch he conceded.

John Wilkinson, executive vp from the 85-store chain Track 'N Trail, Eldorado Hillsides, Calif., stated the store has "seen some activity in approach footwear," but he asked the number of consumers utilize them for sport. And, instead of growing total footwear business, Wilkinson speculated elevated sales of approach footwear and trailrunners are gnawing away at traditional hiking shoe and boot volume.

But Dan Bazinet, president of Overland Buying and selling, a 34-store chain located in Westford, Mass., believes the brand new looks have breathed existence in to the wilting hiking boot category. "[Approach-type footwear] don't represent the lion's share from the hiking market, however they have elevated the hiking business and provided us with extra sales," Bazinet stated.

He designated Timberland's Treeline Series and Rockport's Leadville line as strong performers. Unsurprisingly, he noted the brand new looks are attractive to a more youthful consumer base than traditional hikers.

For that month of June, sales of men's hikers were up 49 percent at Overland, in contrast to June '95, while sales of women's hikers were up 17 % for that month. Bazinet also attributed elevated sales that shops walked from the hiking business, departing that business to the specialists.

Some retailers draw an example between your hiking boom of 2 yrs ago and also the current extreme sport phenomenon. "Lots of bigger chains will receive a certain percent of the business while [extreme] sports continue to be a fad because they are selling cost-point type gear," described Steven Carre, assistant hard goods buyer at Adventure 16, a six-store chain located in North Park. how to ride fast on skateboard tips easy basic on the street road

"However individuals [true enthusiasts] will say `we need real gear' and can arrived at us. That can help us over time."

I've never seen or used the model with a dock HDD in person so I don't have firsthand experience with this. Are you sure you have the specific dock with the hard drive? It should be noticeably thick and heavy and you may hear the spinning platter drive if you put your ear close to it.

If you still think you have the dock, perhaps the ASUS ATK driver package may have support for it. It is available on the asus drivers page for your device model.
