Logonui.exe error on boot, can't use my T100

I have a T100 with HDD keyboard dock on Windows 8.1.

Let's start at the beginning. I downloaded a torrent which probably was the start of all this. After that my T100 started acting strange. It would flash the old desktop and be jumping between the Metro desktop and the old desktop, I wasn't able to click or do anything.
With Ctrl+Alt+Del and task manager I tried ending different tasks but nothing worked, the desktop kept flashing. Just for one short instance it acted normal enough that I could start a Windows Defender scan, Malwarebytes scan and Spybot scan. All found nothing wrong. I also did a Ccleaner cleanup.
After a while it gave me an explorer.exe application error: the exception priviliged instruction (0xc0000096 at location 0x73898e22)

I was able to enter cmd as administrator and tried sfc /scannow which gave an error and said it could not finish. The error was Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.

I turned the T100 off and on again. I wanted to boot in safe mode and since Windows 8 does not have the F8 function at startup I went to task manager - system configuration and in Boot selected safe boot.

Upon restart it gave me the logonui.exe error!! It won't let me logon and I am stuck.
The error is: Windows sign-in: LogonUI.exe - application error. The instruction at 0x73abae79 referenced memory at 0xf5d93f3a. The memory could not be written.
Click on OK to terminate the program.

I tried a bootable USB drive, but can't set the USB drive as boot option in the Bios. It only gives Windows Boot Manager as option.

All I am able to do at the moment with my T100 is enter the BIOS, that's it.

Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it?
Is safe mode boot on a Windows 8.1 Transformer T100 possible?

    Any ideas are welcome!! Thanks.

A Google search on your error code returned copious quantities of guides to fix this problem. Start there would be my advice.

To boot from USB you must turn off secure boot in BIOS

Of course I tried Googling for a solution, but I could not find any Logonui error solution on Google that worked for me.

Will look if I can boot from USB now, thanks. I did not know about the secure boot option in BIOS.

I disabled secure boot and now it gives an error about no bitlocker keys.

I made a bootable usb Windows 10 version with the Microsoft Media Creation Tool but it won't boot from it.

So still pretty much stuck with an unusable T100 :-(
