Thread: T100TA Touchscreen

    T100TA Touchscreen

    Product Model : T100TA
    Product S/N : F8N0BCKKR01E32B
    Place of Purchase : Amazon
    Date of Purchase : 2016/08/09
    Operating System : Windows 8.1 32bit

    Touch screen will not work.

    Have reset machine, cleaned reloaded entire OS,
    downloaded and installed latest drivers from ASUS site.

    Enabled/disabled items in Device Manager. No errors or yellow exclamation points. Flashed BIOS to latest
    version. How can I tell if this is hardware or software failure? The tablet was not dropped, discharged or otherwise effected prior to the issue.

    Keyboard dock and touchpad still work fine, but I need more than a ilttle laptop.

    Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    I'd say you have done everything you can & you should contact either Amazon or Asus for warranty service.

    Hi, allow us to apologize for the troubles. If you already checked "Human Interface Devices > HID-compliant touch screen" as suggested by FrillyBits then have a check here "System Information" to see if "Touch" is listed next to "Pen and touch".

    However, if your touch isn't working, you have the option to send in your unit for an assessment and servicing where necessary.
