Can't get out of "Restarting" mode

Hi All - I'm new to this forum and am looking for a hopeful solution to my issue. A few months back my tablet needed some updates so I let it do it's thing. The problem is that it's been restarting ever since. I've tried to reset by pushing a pin into the pin hole. I've let the battery drain on more than one occasion. I've recently purchased a new charger (kitten got hold of the old one) hoping that would help to no avail. It's still restarting. I gave up for a bit but would really like to have my tablet back. I did try to search through the forum but have not seen anything. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Hi @Rayne and welcome to the forum.
I moved your thread to the appropriate section of the forum so that it may get some attention. I'm sure the friendly folks over there will be with you shortly.

If by "restarting" you mean it opens a site and all looks OK, but then it re-opens the same page, then re-opens it again and again - - well, you're not alone with that problem. My Asus has been doing that for years... among other things. (The most annoying thing it does is display a "flashing" or erratic screen. Had that yet?)

The main reason I'm in this Forum today is to try and eliminate these (and other) problems. I'm still looking for an answer.

    Rayne welcome.

1st, the T100TA doesn't have a "pin hole" to reset the device.

2nd, we're not there with you, so more details please... what OS, when did it last work, have you rolled back the OS, what updates and a clearer description of the issues and what you've done other than putting a pin in the none existent pin hole.

HungryJoe222, I've had my T100TA for nearly 3 years and have never experienced the problem you're describing. Perhaps more detail, OS you're running and updates done... what browser, what other if any issues?
    Rick, loving my T100TA-C1-GR Z3740 64GB Win 10
BIOS 314. All Windows updates except Bing. All Asus Live Updates. WIFI driver 5.93.99.210
I get 8-12 hrs use per charge using SLEEP mode. Warning, NEVER calibrate the touchscreen.
