    T100HA - flipped front camera

    Hi,

So I have a brand new T100HA-FU040T (the 4 GB - 128 GB version), and everything looks ok, except the front camera. The image is upside down, and I can't find a way to solve this. From what I read, it looks like a driver issue, but I can't seem to be able to find the right one. I tried uninstalling Camera Filter, and installing it again from Asus support page. I then updated it to 1.0.5 using Asus Install, but it is still the same

I found a page regarding this issue on Asus support, but it's only regarding laptops running Windows 7 or 8.1, and the advice doesn't seem to apply to Windows 10.

Any help would be greaty appreciated

    Thanks

Vonwen ~ Hi, we're sorry you're having this issue with your notebook's camera and we would love to provide assistance. Please try installing both the "Chipset" and "Camera" drivers for your notebook. Please install the "Chipset" driver first, then restart your notebook. Once the notebook restarts uninstall the "Camera" driver from "Device manager" then install the new "Camera driver," please do not restart the notebook before installing.

(Please note drivers sill automatically download once click the link.)

I have the latest chipset and there is no advanced webcam settings tab in my Skype. My picture is upside down. What is this and how come this is still an issue with Asus products when people have complained for years about this problem??

Sorry but this thread doesn't offer any solutions. Asus customer service have been in here offering futile instructions and when I posted that they don't work I didn't get any reply so I made a new thread to highlight the problem - which apparently has been an issue for years without Asus properly addressing it. I think we need more threads about this to be honest.
