Exclamation 2 bsod in in 3 minutes! HELP!!!!

    Hey Guys
So I'm attempting to fix another laptop right now and downloaded seatool for windows to scan a harddrive. I had a harddrive reader plugged in to my t100, opera browser beta open with about 3 tabs, and norton 360 was running a quick scan. Seatool installed and then when I opened it, it said it was loading disks or something like that and then it bsod. The bsod screen said SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED , and then went through a restart.
After restart I clicked on seatool again, and same disk loading screen (small window for program), and ANOTHER bsod!!! This time the bsod said IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL ! I get that one occasionally (if heavy computing-lots of programs and maxing out- about a couple times a week).
WHY did it do this!!!! With bsod on t100 I have never had a consistent way to get it to bsod until now(unlike my tosh. A505 which just needs several browser tabs).
I am running windows 8.1 with bios 313 (updated in past month).
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

No offense but if you're expecting help, you need to rewrite that as though we have no idea why or what you're doing. And write it like we're not there to observe what you're doing.

It up front it sounds like a driver. If seatool means the Seagate Drive checking tool I'm not surprised it isn't working.

That would work if your internal storage was Seagate, it's not. That tool was designed specifically for Seagate Primary drives.

Okay probably similar program as its by seagate or renamedm but what I installed was seatool for windows by seagate.

Attempting to check the difference, but my internet (broadband) is creeping really slow (an hr for downloading 25 mb!). Sadly since I live in the middle of nowhere its my only option!

If your primary issue is checking the drive attached to USB, why not let Windows check it?
