    Wireless driver issue for windows 8

    First off i have read through the other thread on wireless issues and it has not helped. I am not new to computer repair but i reinstalled windows 8 on my T100 and can not get the wireless driver to install... well it installs but shows and error as unable to start the device i have tried every version of the driver on the asus' support page. Any assistance would b appriciated n thanks in advance.

    Do the Microsoft drivers install?

    They install but shows as error starting device as stated...

    Uninstall the Broadcom device and its driver, then restart tour T100 and see if it finds new hardware and installs the driver.

    BIOS 314. All Windows updates except Bing. All Asus Live Updates. WIFI driver 5.93.99.210
    I get 8-12 hrs use per charge using SLEEP mode. Warning, NEVER calibrate the touchscreen.

    So when you reinstalled Windows, Wifi didn't activate to install updates, etc.? How did you reinstall Windows, from Asus recovery or Microsoft image? If you used a Microsoft recovery image, it should load the Microsoft .167 driver. I assume you are loading the drivers from USB stick. Is the USB OK in device manager? You don't happen to have Bluetooth on do you? Maybe try installing docked and undocked?

    We're very sorry that you're having trouble installing the Wireless driver. Are you downloading this driver from the ASUS support webpage? If so, once you've downloaded and extracted the installation files are you getting any error messages at any point during the installation?
