Like Rick said, in our T100 we use the 'Asus Smart Gesture' software, this should be your primarily hub for all/anything related to touchpad and does allow to disable select/single tab features as well, all the best .

Used to be able to find this setting easily on earlier Windows OSes...
Despite having found the "Mouse and Touch pad" settings, can't seemed to locate switch on tapping..
Did search here and found old topics on other models that tapping CANNOT be disabled, is that still true today for the T100TA?

Appreciate any response, with thanks in advance.

    ASUS T100T -

Have Windows10 - trying to disable touchpad when using a mouse - Control Panel>ASUS Smart Gesture errors with 'Application not found'
Downloaded If I select Setup TPDriver.MSI, says 'another version already installed; remove existing version using Add/Remove Programs on Control Panel.'

If I try this, it says 'installed product does not match the installation sources(s). Until matching source is provided, action cannot be performed'. I do a search for the applicable .msi on the ASUS, and there isn't one other than in the downloaded zip file.

Any suggestions? The only way I have found to turn off the touchpad (Fn- F9 does not work with Win10 but did with Win8.1) is to disable it via Device Manager. This is a bit clumsy so would rather be able to do it via the Fn-F9 key combination.

If it helps, if I go to Driver Details under Device Manager>Mice and other pointing devices>Asus Support Device, Driver Version is dated 10/20/2015. Updating the driver says it has the most current version.

MORE: I may have accidently fixed it. I went to Control Panel>Device Manager>ASUS Touchpad>Properties>Driver tab (where I was before) and did a 'Roll Back Driver'. I took about a minute and a reboot, but it now has driver (might be the original Windows8.1 driver) dated 7/7/2015 and the FN-F9 toggle for the touchpad works.

I guess disregard the error request from above and hope this helps others with the same issue.
