My front-facing camera doesn't work
Today I entered skype and saw that it doesn't recognize the camera (the built-in front-facing camera). It also says that I have to connect a camera in the original camera application that comes in win 8.
What can I do?
I haven't done anything major to the device. I had few other problems but they were fixed. I can't send to Asus because it take a lot time and I can't be that long without that laptop.
It's a suprise to me, because I didn't see any major problems about this device and now I'm having a lot problems.. :\

My son had this issue with his Windows 8 laptop....for him the answer was to turn on the camera by tapping tehe quick key (top row of keys on the keyboard). Does the T100 have one of those? Also ensure you select your camera in the Skype drop down if needed.
Also you may need to op3n the camera app on your T100 and look in the settings...by accessing the charm bar. ...swipe in from right on his laptop...ensure that you give the camera permission to use the webcam

I don't see any quick key for the camera.
The computer don't recognize that there's any camera connected.

It was probably caused by a recent Windows Update, that's what did it to me.
Go to:
• Device Manager (from the Desktop, right click on the Windows logo @ bottom left corner)
• Expand Imaging Devices
• Right click on Intel Imaging Signal Processor 2400 and select Properties
• Go to Driver tab
• Click on Roll Back Driver
• Follow the instructions to roll back to the previous version
• Restart your computer (you will be asked to)

Curiously, I had the same issue after the the driver update pushed by WU. Rolled it back and the camera began working again. However, I discovered a couple of days ago that it's broken again. I've already rolled back the driver, but the camera still isn't back. Anybody experienced this issue and come up with another resolution? Rolling back is no longer an option on the driver page from Device Manager, though the driver date is listed as 8/13/2014 and version is 14.49.0.34. For those whose camera is working, what version and date do you see?

Update: Found these instructions on a Dell forum when searching for info.
____
From Control Panel | Device Manger | Imaging Devices | Intel(R) Imaging Signal Processor 2400 ...
Choose 'Update Driver'
'Browse my computer for driver software'
'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'
Select driver version 603.9600.1948.27252 [10/21/2013] note: this is the latest version prior to the problematic 603.9600.2067.26305_A03
Click 'Next' to install the 603.9600.1948.27252 [10/21/2013] version
Restart computer, check camera to see if working.
___
Note that on my T100TA, I didn't have the suggested driver version. However, the 11/21/2013 603.9600.1948.31252 version was available and seems to be working fine.

Thank you so much for this, this has been bugging me for a while. This worked like a charm.

Webcam not getting picked up
I am trying to use Skype but my webcam is not getting picked up - went to device manager and it does not seem to even be listed. Did the find and fix hardware problems which gives me the following message: "there is a problem with the driver for Camera Sensor MT9M114. Reinstalling the driver might fix the problem". Unfortunately when clicking apply the fix is not made. Have tried to find new drivers on ASUS site but nothing working.
Please help!??

I have the same problem. This has just happened recently as Skype worked fine for me before. My camera has just disappeared from my system altogether. When I open the camera app it asks me to connect a camera.
Someone please help us! Thanks.
