    Installed Windows 8 Enterprise on T-100

    I've read that Windows 8 Professional works on the T-100's, and Enterprise is the same with just a few extra software utilities added.

    So I'm having trouble getting any of the asus drivers (from the support website) to install onto the device.

    I mainly just wanted to get the wireless one working on it so that I could download the Asus Live Update and have that run to replace the other missing ones.

    Has anyone had any success installing a fresh copy of Windows 8 Pro to one of these and if so how did you get the right drivers installed on there?

    Huh, shouldn't have any problems installing drivers. Never had a problem installing drivers on Windows 8.1 Pro. Can you further describe the trouble you get when you try to install the drivers?

    When I go to install any of the drivers I get: Error "Update.cpp 1203" has occurred. Then it asks me to restart my computer.

    I did a google search for your error and it returned me to these forums...

    Rick, loving my T100TA-C1-GR Z3740 64GB Win 10
    BIOS 314. All Windows updates except Bing. All Asus Live Updates. WIFI driver 5.93.99.210
    I get 8-12 hrs use per charge using SLEEP mode. Warning, NEVER calibrate the touchscreen.

    I already read through that. The solution there is to do a system restore. Which I can't do since I'm starting from scratch on Windows Pro.

    I'm looking for someone that's done this before to possibly lead me through their process. It's possible I missed something along the way. But it seems like it should be pretty straight forward if there aren't compatibility issues.

    - I installed Windows 8 Enterprise 32 bit from a USB stick.
    - Moved all of the drivers from the asus t-100 website onto the stick.
    - Then attempted to run the setup files and all of them stopped with that error.

    I thought it was Enterprise?

    At any rate, you can do a reinstall, I assume you still have the ISO?

    If that fails, what about attempting to apply some of the window's updates first before attempting the driver updates? Or trying some of the specific ones, like the SoC driver package first?
