How are the new drivers about battery consumption? I notice a little raise of battery requests and a good stability of connections .. do u notice the same? Which version of the driver do u think is the best?

I don't really notice a difference. On the other hand... I don't care, just recharge it during the night when it is idle :-)

I wonder if this will fix my WiFi problem. I've been running the latest Broadcom drivers on the Asus support page since I got my T100 over a week ago. I had no issues until a few days ago until my download speeds got horribly throttled. I tested a file download on the T100 and my PC tower and they were both significantly different. I then rolled back to the Microsoft drivers and my speed got restored. I have an Asus N66U router and nothing has been changed.

It seems there are a few of us who can only get (or care if we get) a solid and fast connection that must use driver 5.93.97.168 (MS signed). I've tried them all and keep coming back to that one.

Yup. I've finally given up. I saw little speed difference in any later driver, but stability was abysmal. I've task scheduled with event triggers my way around any lingering connection stability issues that I have with .168 MS signed drivers. Any of the later ones just lock up my netstack and/or tablet and require a reboot periodically. .168 will work okay.
Of course the later drivers might have battery life benefits (but at the expense of abysmal stability. For me anyway).

You tried the new one too Rick? Strange gremlins.. I cant find or don't notice a difference on any of the drivers. They all seem to work the same for me.

Yes I did. I can only assume there's something unique for a few of us from the short list of recipe items that affect networking on the T100... whatever... I'm satisfied... and if it ain't broke... yep, don't fix it.
