My C Drive just keep decreasing

I'm sorry I'm really new here
My Asus T100 is 32 gb, and lately I've found that my drive in C is always decreasing
I have no idea why is this happening
Is it because of the cache? Is there any cache removing app that I can use?
Do you have any other solutions?

I'm not installing any hard apps, just safely remove, browsers, and light app
Thank you so much for your attention.

Hi, I'm bernhard29. There are numerous reasons. Install WinDirStat, run it on C: and post a screenshot here, this program makes it easy to identify wasteful programs.

There are 2 folders that can accumulate junk temp files, one is not normally visible but can get filled up by the "tmp" files leftover by programs that they were technically supposed to clean up after exiting but failed which is SOP. Install a program called CCleaner and run it. Make certain you uncheck clean cookies and passwords unless you want them gone too.

One of the folder is a temp folder under the Windows folder. You can delete the files under that folder but not the folder itself.

You can aslo use Windows built-in Disk Cleanup function. Just go to your C: disk properties.

Windows updates also slowly accumulate on the drive. Its possible to remove the space they take up...but then you'll never be able to rollback the updates if you decide you need/want to later.

So everytime you install a 100MB update or what not, you'll loose some amount of that off your drive.

Its part of the reason why, despite the dedicated 8GB recovery drive on the T100, I don't think a 32GB drive is large enough for anything other than just a boot drive (IE not loading apps on it)...which means a poor choice as the only real drive for a machine with Windows.

A couple of years of windows updates can easily add up to 2-3GB of lost storage.
