Keyboard dock unresponsive while holding a key and pressing Shift, Ctrl or Alt

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with the keyboard dock...

When I hold a key (like 'W' in a game), if I press a special key like Shift, Alt or Ctrl, no matter what I do next, the keyboard dock becomes completely unresponsive until I release the key ('W' in this example).
This doesn't happen when I use an external USB keyboard, but as I don't carry one everytime, I find this keyboard issue pretty annoying.

I've sent a mail to tech support about this issue, but the response was simple and clear: Do a full factory reset. I did that, but the problem wasn't solved; then I sent another mail and the response was: Bring your PC to an ASUS Service Center.

Does this happen to you?

I don't have a T100 so can't be suggest a solution. perhaps your best bet is to have Asus figure it out.

This is happens to every T100 and quite annoying when playing any FPS games. Hopefully there's a solution to this in the future.

This thread is pretty old but my T100 hasn't had this problem. And since there's only been these few posts about the issue, I'd say 1) it's not widespread or 2) an update solved it.
