It's on the Asus North America support website but not on my local Asus support website yet

It looks like it might be more than just a simple update, 5.93.98.187 & 5.93.99.187 were both 4,93 (MBytes) but 5.93.99.187.1 is 33,47 (MBytes)

The driver description seems pretty self-explanatory.

    Successfully updated here.

Yes, yes i know. Can you check driver version in device manager BTW? Update seems to go fine, but it still shows the previous one (5.93.99.187) for me.

    Mine shows 5.93.99.187 also
To check to see if it did install properly look in:
Device Manager > Network Adapters > Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter
Details tab and select Install Date which should show the latest date
Events tab should show the latest installation

Without being able to access it from work, if I had to take a guess, it is doing stuff with the windows network frame work and not on the driver itself.

    At a guess.

I am nervous to try, but I think I will tonight. I have 98.168 running pretty stabley now. No disconnects in 4 days. What I tweaked on my network is assigning a static IP address on my router for my T100 (the T100 is still doing DHCP, but its a fixed address now). Not sure if that is what did it or not. At least looking at my network, its doing disconnects at times that DO NOT correspond to DHCP lease expiry. I figured I'd do it anyway though, as I had noticed that at least 50% of the time it was disconnecting from the network was after I had roamed between my access point and my router (generally 1-5 minutes after roaming between) and the other 50% of the time was generally at wake up from sleep or within 1-5 minutes have waking from sleep.

So my guess was/is what might be going on it, is that despite the DHCP lease expiry time, when it is roaming between APs and reconnecting to the network, or waking from sleep, its doing DHCP look-up or something similar. Its my only guess as switching to a static IP on the router seems to have at least reduced the occurance of disconnects. I've gotten one this entire week since changing the settings last Sunday, as opposed to the usual once to twice a day (occasionally once in two days). So I am very confident that making that tweak has reduced the frequency. I wonder if setting a static IP on my T100 itself would cut the behavior completely.

I have checked, when it gets limited connectivity, it still has a valid IP address.

So, anyway, I am hopeful on this one...but I might wait a day or three for some more reports from people to see what if any impact it has.

Anyone want to speed test and/or can report on battery life changes (positive or negative or unnoticable)?

I think its important to know that this zipped download contains a setup batch file that needs to be run to actually do the update....followed by a reboot.

Oh, as an add-on, again without being able to check (I just tried downloading at work to open the zip file, and its trying to download at 180B/sec...yes BYTES a second), I wonder if part of this might be an actual firmware update, not simply a driver update.

Any who have done it, is an installer/exe this time? Or is it still just a package of files?

    Ahh never mind.
