Keyboard Dock Rubber Stoppers Glue detaching

Does anyone else have the problem of the Rubber Stoppers (on the surface) of the keyboard's glue detaching? mine just did on both sides. But the one below the trackpad is still there.

Anyone who has a solution for this?

One of my rubber wedges has ripped off completely. Would be nice if there was some way of replacing them without having to send anything back to ASUS. Still looking for replacement bits, nothing so far.

If you still have the one stopper in the center (by the trackpad), you should still be ok.

If you still have the stoppers (IE not lost) and they aren't torn up, probably a couple of dots of super glue would reattach them.

The rubber feet are really only there to prevent contact and possible scuffing of the screen I think. Even the keys are recessed so key contact shouldn't be a problem.

i lost the one under the touch-pad, looked all over and couldn't find it....wound up putting a lens cloth across the keyboard to buffer between the screen & dock when closed...it happened on the second day of ownership.

Maybe because it isn't a common problem? 2 or 3 users is does not a common problem make.

It could be a common problem, its just the first I have heard anyone complaining about it (and I don't suffer from it. Yet at any rate).

Also remember that most people won't post on a forum saying "hey everything is great with my gadget". They usually search out and post when they encounter an issue therefore it may seem more common than it really is.

Used Rugby (dont use superglue, use rugby) to attempt to put them back together. I was only successful on one side though. I'll attempt the other one again I guess.
