Based on my own testing, T100TA / T100HA is working fine with Sandisk mSD capacity 128GB / 64Gb / 32GB with speed up to 48MB/s version. Anything higher than 48MB/s, it will become unstable which causes "Now you see me, now you don't" symptom. I didn't test other brand of mSD.

I'm running a 128GB Sandisk @80Mb rating - no problems whatsoever on the T100TA here.

Asus Transformer T100HAN SD Card Problem

We have an ASUS Transformer T100HAN in our workshop which needed to have a 128GB SD Card fitted and Dropbox setup to redirected to store data to it. The SD Card is a SanDisk Elite 128GB and is formatted NTFS. When you look in the Event Viewer there are retry errors, a few examples below. The BIOS has been updated to the latest available from ASUS. We have also tried 64GB SanDisk card as well, which gives the similar errors.

Warning 15/07/2016 11:13:35 disk Event ID 153 None

The IO operation at logical block address 0xde2da0 for Disk 1 (PDO name: \Device\00000085) was retried.
The IO operation at logical block address 0xd026f0 for Disk 1 (PDO name: \Device\00000085) was retried.

Has anyone else reported similar issues?

    Any pointers greatly appreciated.

    Regards
    Paul.

havent read the whole thread but ive noticed that if your sd card comes out of the slot then the sd host controller wakes the computer from DRIPS (Deepest Runtime Idle Power State) that being the lowest power state of connected standby, either find some tape to cover it or if it pings out then you have to find the sd card and most likely youre battery has taken a hit because it has come out of sleep mode

    T100HA Micro SD Card help

I have just purchased this notebook and the only thing that I find concerning is that the Micro SD card will not go fully inside the notebook and this leaves it where a very simple brush/knock will see it fall out and onto the floor, has anyone got a solution to this please ???? ,or do you need to blutack /glue on the edge to ensure it stays there or a plastic "something/cover that you can use to protect it from coming out of the notebook, would love to over come this problem, thanks in advance

    Welcome

Nothing you can do about it. Tape it in. It's the design.

    Hello,

I am searching for a microsd card for my T100HA, possibly 128GB. I have no idea of what can be a good choice.

Just for comparison, I have tested the microsd that I use in my smartphone (Sandisk Extreme 32GB) and I get this result:

    sandisk extreme 32gb.PNG

Is it a good result ?
