can anyone confirm whether the T100 supports WIDI/Miracast? I can't find any definitive answer.
Thanks

That's what I'm trying to find out as well. I'm ready to place an order if it has.

Yes i can confirm ....
Intel WiDi is intigated in Win8.1 no special Drivers needed.
Also Miracast is supported on Intel BayTrail Processors.
For me it works best with a Netgear PTV3000.
Connection out of the Box within 2 min. no Problems, seamlesly no lag at all with latest Netgear Driver.
You can stream Hd Video in FullHD and 5.1 Sound and even play games at the same time....
It s an incedeble device ...
much more than I expected.
Even the second Screen is shown in Fullscreen on my HDTV in 1920*1080 in all Options like mirror, extended or standalone...

hi Ralph, if you get a chance can you try both MIRACAST AND Bluetooth audio together? No one has gotten a chance to try it on the 701 yet.
-
you can have multiple connections on Bluetooth, such as mouse keyboard and speakers at the same time.
This is also possible on using WiDi.
Miracast should be the same.
But be aware Bluetooth and 2.4 Ghz Wifi are on the same frequency so if you can switch to 5 Ghz WiFi it is more stable and even faster...

Thanks for the info Ralph.
Do you experience any stuttering or freezing when streaming movies from e.g. Netflix, Hbo etc..?
And are both the Netgear PTV3000 and the Transformer T100 supporting 5ghz wifi?
-
The Netgear i don't know, it says that it is connected via LAN, since it is a direct Wifi connection this is separate from the rest of the network.
The T100 can handle both standarts 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz.
In my setup I use a 5Ghz network from my router as my homenetwork, for internet and wifistreaming in the house.
I have no stuttering or freezing playing video from websites or from my nas.
Netflix is not available in Germany but we have Watchever witch is similar, it works perfekt...
I also tried all on 2.4 Ghz and it is also fine, but if you use Bluetooth at the same time there could be a conflict...( must not ).
But be aware FulHD streaming over WIFI on 2,4 Ghz is verry close to the limit what a wlan can handle so if you want to stream not local content for example from internet or nas this could be the bottleneck.
But don't worry try it and i can nearly garantie it will work perfect...
