Cool How can I delete my data from my broken tablet?

    ASUS Transformer (T100TAF-B12-GR)

My asus transformer screen had cracked, so I tried to replace it but gave up (two stripped screws). Now it wont turn on. I might have put a part back in incorrectly, so it may not really be broke. I don't know or care. This thing was falling apart anyway (keyboard broke a while ago) and I was thinking of buying a newer model. How can I delete my data before I throw this thing away? (My google and outlook account are synced to it and I cant figure out how to remove the accounts remotely.)

What does the hard drive look like? I am willing to destroy this tablet with a hammer to get to it as long as it wont explode or anything.

Please help me and thank you in advance

EDIT: Also, when I have this issue sorted out, what is a good way to get rid of it? I know that I can't just throw it in the garbage.

Off topic, but to my fellow east coasters, please stay warm and safe for the upcoming blizzard.

To destroy data, and if you are going to trash it, just open screen and hammer it

If you just want to erase data, without screen, search Asus Transformer disassembly.

    Good luck.

The easiest way to recycle electronics is through Goodwill the accept everything EXCEPT TV, monitor, both LCD & CRT.
