    Can I still fix it?

    Hi guys,

Just hoped you could give me some input on this. My Asus T100 has been broken for a while and although I've already purchased a replacement (Asus X205TA), I was hoping whether I could still fix my transformer for future use.

My screen burst about half a year ago, which I fixed myself (as the repair price was as high as a new product). Though I wasn't able to fully fix the touch screen, the screen worked fine nonetheless with touch disabled. Some months later my transformer stopped responding to the dock. As of today, I haven't been able to access my transformer book as I simply haven't been able to log in. I have tried a hard reset, and recently purchased a USB OTG adapter. Both this adapter as the USB port in my keyboard dock makes the mouse I connect it to turn on, but it doesn't seem to respond to any movement (the cursor doesn't appear).

I have already accepted the fate of my T100, but maybe you guys have an idea about any possibility to still log in. If so, I would probably be able to get the dock back working from the system settings, so I might be able to get the transformer to serve as a back-up.

If you have any idea, please let me know :-) Cheers!

Welcome to the forum Gerhard93! I, personally, think the ole'T100 is too far gone to resuscitate, but maybe some of our other members will have some suggestions for you to try. Good luck!
