Help! Want to revert from Win 10 back to win 8

Hello guys. Its almost a year since I bought a refurbished Asus Transformer TF1001A on win 8. I noticed my system asked to upgrade to 10 so I took the chance. I did back up my win 8 on the flash drive. Now suddenly my pc already had 28gb of space and keeps bugging me about too much space. I'm thinking the build caused more space so I decide I wanted to put the Win 8 back on there and resell it. I'm looking for something with 500g space drive not a space of that low of 28gb. I wish I would have thought about the specs of this before getting this. I was thinking putting Google drive on there and putting my files on there it would save space. I also have OneDrive installed on there too. Also make it worse, my pc is not reading my flash drive. Keeps saying malfuctioning. My win 8 files on it though. I hope I can get this resolved. Don't have money to spend on a recovery. Can someone help?

    Welcome to the forum

Windows 10 is the current OS, why not just do a system reset and leave 10 on it? Ultimately it doesn't use any more space than 8.1.

So you're saying win 10 uses deane space as win 8? If so I'll keep it. Also I have 2g of space on this thing when I got it. Ain't the Tf100a have normally about 28g? I keep running out of space. Will pm you for more info why.

I have upgraded quite a few Windows 7 and 8 systems and didn't find much difference is space used after the upgrade on either one.

Ok. But I was wondering why every time I save things on my Google drive, the system keeps alerting me about space. Actually my pc has a 28.8 gb in space.

You have mentioned that before, but how much free space do you have. Have you looked ta the disk space cleanup link in my signature? If you do a reset it won't make much difference because nothing will be left but Windows, just like new, but Windows 10.

    Short answer - no.

Your space is being taken up by your usage and the way you have Windows configured.
