While in UEFI mode, the Windows version must match the PC architecture. A 64-bit UEFI PC can only boot 64-bit versions of Windows. A 32-bit PC can only boot 32-bit versions of Windows. In some cases, while in legacy BIOS mode, you may be able to run 32-bit Windows on a 64-bit PC, assuming the manufacturer supports 32-bit legacy BIOS mode on the PC.

The Atom cpu is 64-bit & will run 64-bit or 32-bit Windows. The UEFI must be 64-bit or it could never run Windows 64-bit, unless it's able to revert to Legacy mode. The TAM can run 64-bit Windows & the ones shipped to Europe with 4GB RAM, do so.

It's more a matter of RAM. Windows 64-bit requires 2GB, minimum; while Windows 32-bit requires 1GB, minimum.
Asus should have made them all with 4GB RAM.

Yeah I know how UEFI works, and my TAM only has 32 bit UEFI, making it only able to boot 32 bit UEFI operating systems, with the exception of Linux.
Linux has been made to work in 64 bit, but I don't want to use Linux.

It's not a major issue that the T100 I have can't run 64 bit, I knew this was a limitations when I bought it, but it would be cool if it could.

Guys, PLEASE, give me links to WinFlash.
Upgraded to Windows 10 and can't find WinFlash on tablet!
Moreover, I can't find links to WinFlash for T100TA over the ******* Internet!

Let me google "winflash" for you

Try the second link on that search result...

    Or even this...

Let me google "winflash Asus download" for you

(BTW there is no need for a distinct thread on that subject. It has been deleted.)

It should still be there in: OS (C: ) > Program Files > ASUS > WinFlash

By the way, WinFlash has not been updated for Windows 10 you just use the Windows 8.1 version.

Go to your local Asus website @ ASUS
Click on Support On some sites you must click on Service first then Support
Enter the Model Name T100TA in the Search field and select ASUS Transformer Book T100TA
If you are unsure, your model name can be found @
Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > System Information > System Model
If necessary select Drivers & Tools
Choose your OS. Usually Windows 10 32 bit BUT in this case Windows 8.1 32 bit
    Click on BIOS-Utilities
    You will see Version V2.42.0
To the right of Download from click on Global
The ZIP file should be named WinFlash_Win81_32_VER2420
After downloading un-zip the file and install

    There's a new bios 207 out for T100TAM.
As far as I can tell, Continuum works.

Since I upgraded from 204 and never used 206, I don't know what the diff is between 206 and 207

    Hello,
18 moths ago, I made the mistake of updating thje BIOS of my T100TA using a T100TAS BIOS from Asus website. (and winflash)
My T100TA shut downs completely and unexpectedly when battery is about 50% with Kernel-power event
And if charger is not connected, the problem can't be solved.
Is the any way to downgrade to correct Bios? Winflash don't accept
    Thanks beforehand

    Build Date is 2/22/2016.

    Flashing now...successful!

They may have changed Security, since I noticed Secure Boot was now enabled and/or NVRAM was reset.
I've been using an Android Live USB & Secure Boot was turned off before the BIOS update.

There's a newer version 400 that I'm using now as I was on 206 and skipped 207 for the 400. I'm getting a weird halt at the asus logo when I cold boot and I have to power it off and then on again for it to go past that and boot into windows 10.
