Wait.... you're telling me the T100 can now do 64 bit?
I've also heard something like this over Console OS, as it now running on T100, and Console OS is also a 64 bit only operating system.

I've updated my BIOS, and it's still not picking up my 64 bit installation media.
How did you do this? Or is my model T100TAM not compatible or something?
    I don't even get it.

There a few t100 models that support 64 bit. The TA isn't one of them as far as I know. It's really complicated that Asus created so many models using the same external design that have slightly different specs and bios versions.

    Well dammit...

    Why would Asus..

I don't really understand why Asus doesn't update the BIOS on the other models to support 64 bit UEFI, after all they got almost identical specs and a 64 bit capable CPU.
Okay... 2GB ram is not the best, but atleast give the users the choice. Even though it only has 2gb and 32 bit is obviously going to run better, I would love to have this option.
The best of all I think is that when I go to the Asus website to download drivers, it very nicely lists Windows 10 x64 as an option, while the entire operating system cannot run.

Asus added support for Win10-64bit this week, hasn't been there before. They changed the url, so have updated my signature.

Have only seen 64-bit versions of the TAM in Europe.

Currently existing TAM models can't run 64 bit can they?
Last Christmas I bought a T100TAM, 2GB ram, and the 206 bios update doesn't bring anything new that I've been missing before the bios update.

I don't know if there are different versions of the TAM version of the T100, but there probably are, and if so.. I have no idea.
I just know that I have T100TAM with 2gb ram, 32GB internal storage and the Z3775 CPU.

Am I missing something? What is the benefit of 64bit OS on a machine with less than 4GB of ram. Same for 64bit uefi; what advantages?

    This discussion again....
    No, please no.
    I just want it.
I'm not gonna explain it all over again.

As for what the advantage of 64 bit UEFI is: to run 64 bit operating system of course.

You might want it but I don't think you're going to get it. Looks like last year's t100tam models are all 32bit. Still, I fail to see any benefit to a 64bit os on the 2gb tablet.

Wasn't expecting much, but just asked to be sure.
