Usually affects people who did a clean install of Windows and modified the built in system partition by overwriting it. You just need to add a folder pathway that the easy flash software recognizes.

Also see my most recent comment on that thread. I needed to do the procedure while in safe mode.

Thank you, worked like a charm! And indeed I did a clean install of Windows 10 with clearing my original partition...

Ok, weird. went to the other thread and did what it said but *FORGOT* to create structure. winflash still said buffer error but on restart it flashed a bios. flashing said it was flashing 313 but I downloaded 314, files says .314.

I made the directory structure in the EFI partition, as the other thread describes. After doing this and rebooting, I still get the buffer problem trying to flash 314.

You can use Mini Tool Partition Wizard to assign drive letter, then change it back to None when completed.

I am trying to install the flash utility, but it says it can't be installed on a non-Asus laptop. Any ideas? Can I use the utility inside BIOS setup? Haven't done this before.

edit: Ok, I did it without the utility.

The only reference I can find for a t100TAN is the model "with Bing". If you ordered a TAM but didn't get it, I would complain to your retailer...
