I would also suggest to first get a 128gig SD card which is what I will be doing myself soon. You are better off to install programs etc on the SD card and use and external drive for storing stuff like programs videos etc or to install some other programs that you won't need when mobile as it's not that practical to carry an external drive around with you when you go out.

Also, I see that DKL said "There is of course the option of getting a 250GB SSD and putting it in the enclosure. "

That is interesting, I had assumed the hard drive was not a standard one so I never thought I could just change it for another so this sounds like a good idea to get a much bigger and better HDD. I might start looking around for SSD drives myself, this would be great. I guess that is the limit of upgrades for the T100? Some memory and graphics upgrades would have been good too

EToby... you're mixing your ideas. You can not change or enlarge the "built in" 32/64GB eMMC drive.

You can though add extra storage memory by plugging in a microSD memory card or a USB flash drive or USB SSD or even a HDD... assuming they can be powered by USB or an external power source. However, (for now) you will not be able to put Windows Store apps on those "extra storage locations". You can however install many Windows "programs" on these extra storage locations if they allow choosing the install location. Or you can use a file redirection method to have a C drive location point to one of those other memory devices.

Make sure to do your homework before taking any direction.
