    HDMI erratic

A few months ago I hooked up my T100 Windows 8.1 to the tv via the HDMI connections and it worked perfectly. While I only did this every now and then to watch Netflix, it worked every time. The last couple of times, however, it's been different.

Now what happens when I plug in the connections as I have been done before, I get a no signal on the TV - the tv is receiving no signal. The first time this happened I fooled around trying different thing and finally it worked. I tried some many things that I started to repeat myself so I have no recollection as to what I did to get it to fire up. Last evening it didn't work like that. After several attempts there was still no joy. Yes, I checked to be sure I had the right HDMI outlet on the TV. So, I thought it might be the wire. Used a wire that worked on my daughter's T100 and still no signal. Finally, got frustrated and just logged on Netflix using the daughter's T100. After watching a movie I thought what-the-heck and plugged in my T100 and it worked. All this leads me to think that it's not a problem with the tv or the wires but my T100.

Is there some kind of driver for this that I can update or uninstall and reinstall? I don't want to think it's a hardware issue with the machine.

Does anyone have an idea or experience in this regard?

i just use the standard drivers from the asus site. that and make sure your input is set correctly on your hdtv. i use the kb short cut fnc + f8 to get to the menu to use extend. fig i dont want my 1920x1080 tv to view 1366x768. that and i'd check the cables too. i use monoprice's hdmi and micro displayport to hdmi adapter. good quality, never had problems when i went with their cables.

The cables I have are monoprice and they both work with my daughter's T100. That leads me to think that there is something amiss with my T100. Thanks for the input.
