    Flashing Cursor? (ASUS 100)

I recently uninstalled Windows 10 that I downloaded for free, after only a few days of utilization, back to windows 8.1 due to minor, but increasing speed-related problems.
Now, I am facing a new problem: my cursor is constantly flashing and I feel like it's somehow related to a slower computer behaviour. Even without InternetExplorer opened, it still happens.
How can I stop my cursor from blinking? I have tried restarting my Tablet, and that did not help the situation.

    Thanks in advance!

Wipe & rebuild your system - you have a faulty "foundation".

When you have done that, try W10 again - it is supposed to be faster and better. No reason to suppose it isn't. All Windows machines suffer with the slow down you describe. They all need regular mainatenance - its the nature of the beast.

There is a setting under Keyboard Properties to control the "Cursor blink rate".

P.S. Generally speaking I agree with janner43... unless you have something (a program that won't run on 10) you should make the effort to go on to Win 10, even if it takes a "clean install". It really is worth the annoyance of installing. BTW, Win 10 has the same cursor blink rate.
