Question new t100 user, some questions

Hello everyone: first sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language

I just got my transformer book t100 (32gb model) and this has been one of the best purchases I've ever made, loving this little machine. I do have some question:

1-I have the 32 gb model, but the disk have only 14 gb free and total 20.8 gb. I'm assuming that the 12 gb that aren't showing are for the windows OS, but are the other 6 gb from bloatware?? I already did what a lot of the guides here says(did a disk cleanup, deleted temp files on my user), and still have around that number, not even close to the 20 gb

2- Is there a guide on how to remove/delete all the bloatware or which programs can i delete without having issues later?

    Thanks in advance

sounds like your 32gb drive has the recovery partition on it, which is about 7ish gigs

might also be a wimboot-based install

14GB free is a good amount for the 32GB T100, I have between 10 and 12GB and other forum members are jealous

There is not much 'bloatware' just a few apps you might never need, the Weather app didn't list my area so it is deleted
Microsoft Office takes up about 1.5GB but you might need it

Yeah, 14 gb free is very good on the 32 gb model. You probably have the TAF model that does use the Wimboot compression technology. You can't delete any recovery partition if that is the case. You may also have Windows with Bing. I didn't see much bloatware either, just a couple of photo apps, ASUS Update, and ASUS Webstorage. I am finding that Windows/Office updates take up much of the free space and it will dwindle down with time. I've been trying to get my 32 gb ready for the Windows 10 update. So I've been uninstalling programs to get back disk space (currently at 2 gb free) rather than a complete reset. I first uninstalled my 3rd party AV/firewall and went back to Defender and Windows Firewall. Didn't get much there. Then I uninstalled Office 2013 Pro that I had installed on the SD card. It worked and worked for close to 30 min. I wasn't expecting much as the 3 gb program was on the SD card. I got back 9 gb! So I have close to 12 gb free now. I suppose it is different with Office Home and Student and Office 365. I also hope that the diskspace situation will improve with Windows 10.

There's really not much bloat on the T100's unless you consider the free Office as bloat. Here's the disk drive partitioning for the T100 32GB model. This is for the original 32GB model without Wimboot and the additional 8GB ROM recovery partition. Disk0 is the onboard 32GB device. You will see partition C: shows just under 10GB of free space. So if you haven't performed any Windows updates 14GB free seems about right.

It is pretty typical for Windows 8.1 on the T100 to use around 15-20GB of disk space after updates.

It's also pretty typical to have around 10GB of free space on the 32GB model after updates. How were you determining you should have 20GB free?
