Why can't I find anything on the T100TAR-B1-GR(S) model?

    Hi everyone!

First time here, but I'm going straight to business. I've recently bought a T100TAR-B1-GR(S) from Groupon. I've been looking around about this specific model but I cannot find anything pertaining to it. If someone have any knowledge regarding this device compared to the other models, can you please share it with me? Does it have anything that lets it stand out ? Also, I've read around about how styluses do not actually work well with T100s. Does this stay true even if my goal in using the stylus is just writing some math equations as a part of my lecture notes? Do you think the issue with the stylus will still be a problem for that kind of work?

As far as using a stylus is concerned, read our dedicated stylus guide thread.

The other link you should pay attention to is the T100 FAQs section linked in my signature. Particularly take note of the T100 Master Help Guide.

    All the best

Well, to be fair, even ASUS doesn't acknowledge it. LOL.

Yeah, the link that they have takes me to a non existent page.

I guess what I should have said was that I couldn't get any reviews or insight regarding this model comoared to the other t100s.
Did this come out before the t200 because this model has a rear 5mp cam and a Z3775 atom. I tried my stylus with my dad's t100 and it seemed
Efficient enough to write down math equations.

The T100s are just separated due to Atom processor speed, 32 or 64 gb eMMC, color (white, red, grey), material of construction (TAM= metal), and whether it has a 500 gb HDD in the keyboard dock. Mine's a Z3740 and it is about 2 years old. The newer ones are Z3775. Not sure what the F and R stand for as mine is a T100TAF and yours is a T100TAR. They do have different bios:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASUS_T...rmer_Book_T100

I think the Book Chi replaced the T100/T200 series.

The T200 is really not a tablet anymore at 11.6 inches. At least I don't think of it being as portable. They are marketing it as a 2 in 1, ultraportable.

Edit: Also, newer models will employ WIMBoot (compression) technology for the OS. That will give you more free space on the 32 gb model.
