Installed w/o any problem, all is working fine until now.

If this is still fine next week I'll probably update it.

Not to worry...we don't mind being your beta test group.

Then again...for those of us who have installed every update since inception nearly a year ago...we have no angst about doing updates anyway.

I have something I'm confused about. Is it possible that this BIOS update can fix the whole UEFI 64 bit issue to allow us to install android???
Is anyone an expert on the matter who can chime in on this?
Thanks

I have installed the BIOS, and it's working perfectly fine. I'm even thinking the battery is lasting a tiny bit longer, but that could be just me.
I don't see any difference really, but I'm not an expert.
I am wondering who can somehow figure out if this had an impact on the UEFI in anyway?

Yeah want I want to know is what exactly this update does. :P
Also, thank you for being such voluntary guinea pigs :3

Asus is a big corporation, it is pretty rare that they release an update that crashes your system. Other than their inability to provide us with 64 bit UEFI drivers, I am a big fan of their products and service in general.

Having installed every single BIOS version since last Thanksgiving on my T100TA...without a single "crash" or other real issue...I'd agree with you that some of the "hit and run" posting critics simply are wrong. As you correctly cited...like any other large manufacturer of consumer electronics...ASUS does internal testing of releases prior to offering the as available as a public version. I have no affiliation with ASUS whatsoever, but after using several of their products for more than 8 years now...I have come to find their products to be durable, reliable, and show great performance.
This tablet has worked beyond expectations, taken on an upgrade to MS Office Professional with flying colors in performance, and exceeded expectations as my regular travel companion all over the country - including WIFI connectivity in literally hundreds of locations the past 10 months.
[QUICKIE VENT] Having read through hundreds and hundreds of posts here - and monitored numerous threads on "issues"....more than 99% of any problems are proven to fall under the categories of 1) self-inflicted problems, 2) failure to maintain current drivers, and/or 3) lack of proper configuration on the units.
Since we live in a world of people expecting instant gratification or quick answers to everything (meaning many folks don't want to actually take the time to either learn something or research the right answer), "issues" get reported. The other 1% of posts on issues appear to be legitimate hardware/device defects that can get resolved with an RMA. Only one BIOS version to date had some short-term "issues", and was quickly replaced with a newer/corrected version.
If I had a nickel for every post or thread that ended up eventually disclosing that something was either not configured correctly, not understood because of little effort to research the problem (quick fix approach), or failing to report key information to end up with the appropriate help/solution...I could have bought a new car with those funds. [END OF VENT]
There are many good people (and experienced technologists) here who spend a great deal of voluntarily time to help others. There is also a terrific inventory of information and help to resolve issues.
Fact is...for those of us who take the time to learn, research problems, test new drivers and releases regularly, and share detailed information on results...installing a new BIOS or updating our tablets is a routine and non-eventful activity. The T100TA simply keeps on ticking in wonderful ways.
Coming full circle - BIOS v3.13 is working without incident...and no reported problems at this time.
