If you've downloaded and unzipped the file to your T100Ta unit, and run the setup.bat file...you should be done.
That said...check the Device Manager in your control panel and confirm that your driver is the .207 version. If not, you can run the "update driver" from the Broadcom device window and it should perform the update. In my case, setup.bat did the job.

The .bat ones are giving the problem, do you have to unzip in any specific directory & run from there ??
All .rar & .zip were in Downloads, all unzipped into individual directories within Downloads and run from there - the 2 with setup.exe worked ok

do i need to manually install these? my unit is working fine right now.

Great questions.
One surefire way to get updated drivers installed is to take them one at a time (not the fastest way, but the surest) and unzip them into a temp directory on your T100TA.
Then go to into Device Manager (via your Control Panel) and select the specific component getting the update (such as the Network Adapter Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter). Then double click on that and select the driver tab and then update driver. Finally, choose Browse my Computer... and point to the Temp director you created earlier...and select the new driver by name.
That's the long way around, but it works.
The shorter way is to unzip each update one at a time into a temp directory...then run the .bat or .exe setup file within the unzipped package. Then delete all the files in the temp folder you created after a successful install. The reason for this is that many driver packages create similar name folders or files when unzipping...and if you just keep unzipping to the same folder...you won't really know which file goes with which update.
I've done it both ways and it generally will work either way.
When you check the Device Manager again after the update, and the Driver tab...it should show the new version (if installed successfully). One last thing - a number of updates require the unit to restart after installing...make sure you follow those screen instructions for the restart.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. I guess what i really want to know is if it is indeed needed to update my current device drivers as they are working fine right now anyway.

All updated using the setup.exe instead of .bat, no problems so far. WiFi with 207 actually seems a bit quicker compared to the previous 187.1, or is it my imagination !!!

Edit: Installed all the drivers. So far haven't been having any issues, in fact, my T100 feels functionally better.
It seems the 64-bit are for the TAL and TAF models which come with the new Z3735 Atom which apparently supports 64-bit. However the spec pages for those T100 tablets show the TAL has 2GB RAM and the TAF only 1GB
It looks like the TAM will have the Z3775 with 500GB HDD option:
Notebooks & Ultrabooks - T100TAL - ASUS
Notebooks & Ultrabooks - T100TAF - ASUS
Notebooks & Ultrabooks - T100TAM - ASUS
It would have been nice to see an option with 4GB RAM and 128GB eMMC even if only still 32-bit.

There is a benefit in doing the update.

You are not imaging things...it is not really "faster" but certainly trouble-free and solid for connectivity and even streaming.

Yes there is a benefit. But I've read from other thread that the driver updated caused the camera to malfunction. I guess there's risk on it.
And what I truly don't like about updates is it consumes disk space. So the more updates, more storage hogs.

It was the recent MS Update that did it, happened to me, rolled back and all was ok. Did all the updates yesterday that ASUSFAN0001 suggested and everything is A OK, even the camera.
