    Post New to Transformer T100A

I'm about to purchase an Asus Transformer T100A and have a couple of questions:
Is is advisable to get the 64-bb model, or am I just as well off with 32 gb?
What is your advise for the best case? I want one that will protect both the tablet and the keyboard? And will any of the case that protect both also provide a kickstand? Also, should I use protective film on the tablet screen?
I've researched the tablet thoroughly and have decided that is the one that will work best for me. Any advice is welcomed.

    Welcome to the forum

I can't answer your case question but on the memory size, if you are using it for more or less standard operations (no ton of large games or RAW photos etc.), the 32GB should be fine as any data can be stored on the SD card. In that respect the memory capacity in infinite.

Given the choice; I'd go for the 64gb model. It's only a little more expensive and the extra memory is nice. I own the 32gb model myself, since the 64gb isn't available in my region. And I get by but would have preferred more memory.

What is your advise for the best case? I want one that will protect both the tablet and the keyboard?
I keep mine in a soft-padded-pouch. As long as you carry the tablet and dock together, the screen and keyboard will be well protected inside the clam shell design.

And will any of the case that protect both also provide a kickstand?
The dock can serve as a stand for the tablet. I never felt the need for a additional kickstand.

Also, should I use protective film on the tablet screen?
I don't. When closed, the dock will protect the screen. With normal use your screen should be fine.

Welcome to the Forum. Glad you joined us.

If 64G is within your budget, then go for it.

I always use a screen protector. Better safe then sorry.

Can't help you with the case.

Hello everyone, I just joined the site, and same like the OP, I am soon going to be the owner of a beasty T100 too. I will aquire the 64GB eMMC one with the built-in 500GB HDD in the keyboard. Funny, but actually I had the same question about cases - I definitely need one that can take in the tablet with the keyboard attached to it. So far I was thinking about the same pouch-kind of thingy, but I really need a sturdy one with water-(and dust-)repellent zip. I'm gonna check out the topic Swipe just mentioned a bit before. Thanks.
