Nah, he qualifies for both... honest misunderstandings notwithstanding, I admittedly don't always get my points across clearly all the time...

Wife picking up the T100 for me today. Going through the tips list & making notes on Firmware, updates, couple of apps I will want to install, etc.

Thanks again for help (I like the snowball discussions!)

Of course, I'm in South Florida - so it's about the only snow we get.

I peeked through the games thread, but it's mostly (all?) high graphic stuff. Wondering how some of the old classics like Empire Deluxe, Warlords 2, Settlers play on this if at all. Or puzzle games like Pathpix.

In short, games that can take advantage of the touch screen to make them easier to play. I don't really care about high-intensity graphics - I'll take gameplay instead.

my steam games on usb stick, plays slower than my notebook(lower graphcs)

it does not work without battery, drops dead at 4% power, take 2amp.. 4, 1/2 hour to full charge(from off) .. it say at 5% power level, when charged in stay on forever (full load) but will only give you 1% charge every hour (with hdd plug in) etc

as for monitor out, to can boot to external screen acess bios/ dos from my 24" with tablet screen being off, (my alienware only turn on external screen after to boot up into o/s

undocked the asus pdf reader great, fast can open multi pdf and remember them, pages.. typ im using at 100% brightness in tablet mode pdf viewing, i get 6+ hours use, screen set to not go black or dim, bubbles screen saver.. i will test this easter sat if instedad of bubbles, making it go blank screen saver better for battery, say after 30m idel?

Setting up the t100 now. I think I'm mainly going to be using the tablet without keyboard. Tried Touchpal but seems buggy. Any recommendations for a better keyboard?

Testing out the old wimdows on-screen keyboard and it's better for 1 finger typing. At least you can put it in a floating window and it has corrections, and suggestions.

I suspect that once you update all of the windows updates and all the Asus device drivers (there were several leading up to the touchpad latest version)..you'll have a different user experience.
