Thanks, i think i prefer to be simple and use the asus update wizard. This way the chances of me bricking it is unlikely. I am currently running 2.25. The reason for asking is, for me to see all future updates do i need to upgrade sequentially (in which case i'll start now) OR can i jump updates as long as it appears in my asus live update manager.

I suspect i can jump once its available as i recall i jumped from 2.14 to 2.23.

    Thanks

Wow, 304 is another impressive update. There is also new EC included!

During same conditions, idling on desktop, undocked, consumption went down for 300mW during an average time 1min. I forgot to test it under load, so perhaps somebody else can do it using handbrake as azazel suggested.

But my guess is less consumption is only when idling, which I am completely fine with, I rarely use my tablet under full load.

    Good job asus!

Try the US support website. They seem to get it a day or three before the international support website does.

As for the BIOS update...dangit Asus!

I think this one I'll sit on for awhile. This one sounds like it might be addressing problems for people with connected standby excessive battery consumption, which I don't have.

I didn't do a good before and after test, since I was rushed last night, but IIRC on what my previous battery consumption figures were, I think it is a couple of hundred mw lower at windows desktop idle with basically the same settings I had before. Its been a couple of weeks since I've checked those figures for previous BIOS version...so I might not be remembering them correctly.

Wow... I can't believe how frequent these BIOS updates are, is this typical of Asus or is it unique to the T100? I'm still on 220 hahaha...Maybe I will just throw caution to the wind for once and jump on board early and go to 304. For the first time I'm actually starting to feel like I'm missing out on something worthwhile here. Some nice fixes in the updates since 220.
