[ SOLVED ] Help, some keys in my keyboard are not working

    Dear T100ers,

Help is needed here. Some of keys of dock keyboard don't work. To be exact the disfunctional keys are x,c,b,n and space. Now I am typing with virtual keyboard.

I haven't restored the notebook. But i have restarted it.
The drives are up to date.
The keyboard was working well yesterday.
I bought it in Jan 27th from Walmart.com

    My questions are:
Is there any way to fix the problem without sending back to Asus?
Is it still within the exchange period?

Thanks a million time. I really love my little t100.

Update: OK, I am quiet impressed by Asus RMA. Sent by UPS, delivered on 03/31/2014 at 9:51 A.M. Today I again try to find my RMA status online. And the repair speed is so astonishing ! 1.PNG
Basically, it get repaired the same day received!(well done, Asus) And after 2 days I would have my sweet T100.
Finger crossed for a T100 in good condition!

    Update

Let's say hurray! The keyboard was fixed. Asus said it was a floating keyboard, and changed my module.

    My lessons are:

    1. You can never be too careful about an electrical device.
    2. Never hesitate to use the RMA, Asus RMA is so goooood.

Bringing this thread up again as a t100 in my familly has this exact issue.

What exactly was the problem, is it a software or hardware issue?

I don't understand what a "floating keyboard" is, and what is meant by changing the module. Is it something that can be fixed on your own with a little bit of walkthrough help or is it something that must be sent in somewhere?

The ASUS doesn't have a warranty so hopefully if it must be sent somewhere, sending it in to another computer store could fix this as well?
