    Sandisk 128GB microSDXC card

Do you think it will work with the Transformer Book T100???.

Well, neither the user guide or website specification puts a total limit on the microsd card size.

Both documents however only state microSD... they don't say microSDXC.

However it works with a microSDXC as I do have one 64 GB in my tablet.

    Ditto.

A 128GB version should also work.

It should work, but it just depends on what exactly it uses. The is the NCRC DDR50 timing issue with Bay Trail SoCs that seem to be biting some Sandisk Ultra 64GB users in the butt occasionally. So it might work perfectly or it might be a case of some of them work fine, some don't.

Or it could be a case of, do you REALLY need 128GB of added storage to your T100? I am sure the answer depends, but that is a heck of a lot of storage for a tablet and it just might be a lot cheaper to get an external HDD for the times you need more than 64GB of storage. Heck, you could likely buy a 500GB external USB3 HDD plus a 64GB microSD card for the price of the 128GB card.

It is cool though and I do hope it ushers in affordable 128GB solutions and drives down the price of 64GB microSD cards though.

Indeed - which is exactly what I have and what I bought. Black Friday....$46 for the Sandisk microSD Card and $39 for the 500GB USB3.0 portable (compact) HDD.

    Best of both worlds.

Sigh, I wish I could have gotten a 64GB extreme for that cheap. I think I bought mine the day after Black Friday and it was $30 for the 32GB extreme or $65 for the 64GB extreme, I didn't want to splurge, so I went with the 32GB extreme. The HDD was cheaper though, just a $15 enclosure since I was pulling the 500GB drive out of my laptop to drop in an SSD anyway.

    Cool Beans!

Is it as small as this little fellow I got and USB3.0? I love the ultra-small size of these, not to mention the USB 3.0 speed.

Mine appears smaller Amazon.com: Tool Free Screw-Less ORICO 2588US3 USB 3.0 2.5-inch External Hard Drive Enclosure Adapter Case for SATA Drive: Computers & Accessories

It works pretty well. I definitely get full drive speeds out of it. About 105MB/sec with the drive nearly empty.
