BIOS 226 + driver updates are new

The Touchpad, Bluetooth 226 BIOS, Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface, and Audio driver are brand new. Looks like the international site is missing some of these right now, but the US site has them all.

No idea about the EC update, as usual asus is very modest with its changelog.

I had the same problem, although I didn't have it docked so maybe it didn't detect the touchpad when trying to install. I have tablet only today.. left dock at home. Going to try again tonight with it docked. Also strange it makes you manually uninstall the old software first, seems they cant automate that process with the touchpad component.

My fear is with a problem i found when uninstalling the software. After i remove the software, the touchscreen goes crasy, touch is very jumpy , scrolling is very fast and the only way you can fix this is by reseting the device. I have not tested to recalibrate the screen ? maybe this can help, but i am scared of trying (don;t want to start all over again )

Having the same problem. Scrolling in IE is ridiculous. The same small flick flies to the bottom of the page one time but only a few lines the next. Scrolling often stops abruptly as though I've touched and interrupted it. So uninstalling the touchpad software to install the new version is the cause?

I have tested only with the old version. I hope that with 2.2.8 they will fix it, but i don't want to experiment again. If you have the scroll problem, maybe try to update to 2.2.8 and see if that fixes it.
You have the problem only after unistalling , and reinstalling the old driver don't fix it ...

Yup, the new touch pad driver fried my scrolling. Going back to the old one did not restore it, though having smart gesture uninstalled scrolling worked fine, but the touch pad wasn't working well. I just restored from my last restore point, but I can't check if it is working right now because I am away from wifi.

Other drivers work fine as does the BIOS. Do NOT use the new touchpad driver!!!!
