That may or may not be a wise strategy. Assuming that 225 fixes some problems 224 had, it may be the wrong decision. Then again they would probably have taken 224 down if that was the case. But you never know. So I guess you're right.

Yeah when I was having the problem the kybd arrow keys acted the exact same way - the app title bar went from top window (dark) to background window (light) too, and the scrolling with the arrows was interrupted the same way.

But I'll agree with the poster who said - skip 224 and go right to 225.

I would agree with you but then why did ASUS then leave the 224 BIOS still available? If there were a problem with 224 I would expect them to pull it. Perhaps both have been left there for a reason. That's what I'm after.

The two versions address different issues.

BIOS v2.24 has primarily one change: "Shorten the System boot necessary charging time under low power."

BIOS v2.25 notes state one change: "Shorten necessary charging time to reboot system under critical battery."

It's safe to assume that going right to V2.25 would include both contents (backwards compatible).

Live update and the download page both show 224 only for me. If 225 was showing earlier on the web site, its no longer there.

Installed 225 and no problems so far. The EC firmware was also updated. Went right from 223 to 225.

I noticed long ago that the "Like/Share" button using IE Metro was not there. I think I even mentioned that "issue" on these forums. I finally discovered that if you tap the screen it'll show up and you can tap tap around till you're next tap clicks the "Like". This was quite annoying because it was there with Firefox and IE desktop. I finally discovered that if you hold your finger on the screen for a little longer than just a tap, the "Like/Share" link appears for you to touch. TaaDaa.
