Remap hardware buttons on tablet to turn on screen

Hi, with my previous Android tablet, you could edit a text file and change the functions of your tablet buttons to something else, eg changing the home button to turning on the screen.

I was wondering if there's a way to do that in the T100 as well.

There's been some interest on this forum of remapping hardware buttons but I don't believe anyone has succeeded so far.

Just realized what your post header says "Remap hardware buttons on tablet to turn on screen".

Does your power button "in landscape, the top edge left corner button" not turn on the T100? It should.

Actually I realized that it does. However was wondering if I could use it to power on the tablet

It does that too. If the tablet is powered off, just hold that same button for about 4-5 seconds until the white LED next to the camera comes on, then release the button.

FYI that same button powers the unit off too. With the unit on, hold that button for a few seconds and a screen will pop up that says "Slide to shut down your PC".
