    Touch screen sensitivity

Hey guys, after using my t100 for about a week now, i notice when i am flicking through pages on a browser or the FB app with the touch screen, it scrolls so quick and i always tend to miss some contents.

does anyone else experience a similar issue? From using an iPad to this t100 hybrid, I can really feel the differences in user experience with the touch screen.

i've used the ipad4, an archos tablet and now the t100. i found the ipad4 to be precise but a bit slow and mushy, the archos was erratic and jumpy and the t100 is very fast and precise. I score the t100 highest.

It happend to me too. It is a problem within the windows account (registry or whatever). I saw that on my wife's account (administrator) the scrolling was smooth, therefore I deleted mine and re-created it. Asus support was unable to tell me what app settings might have changed and I compared mouse/scrolling settings in both control panel and metro interface and was unable to find the root cause. Might not be the nicest solution, but at least you don't have to reset the whole tablet.

I didn't have this problem before, but right after updating ASUS smart gesture v2.27, and also updating v220 bios, it happened. Just like you described, the touch screen scrolling was way too fast to see posts.

Afterwards, I uninstalled asus smart gesture v2.27, and the problem went away
    HOWEVER
I reinstalled smart gesture v2.24 (the previous one), and the problem still came back.

So now im stuck with whether I should have smart gesture or proper scrolling speed. Im not sure if bios could also be at fault here too

@toothfish, reinstall asus smart gesture v2.27, create new account, check scrolling momentum. afterwards delete and re-create your win account (or find another method). not nice, but it happend to me right after asus smart gesture 2.27

I'm surprised there haven't been more complaints on this issue, this problem plagues both of my T100's.
We have to be very careful when scrolling in facebook, or websites because just the slightest flick of your thumb and the scrolling FLIES, which leads you to backscroll slowly to view what was missed.
It's pretty annoying and I cant find any settings in Windows 8 to adjust the touch screen sensitivity...anyone have any ideas?

I think I have found the solution... you have to adjust the "friction" parameter in the following registry key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Wisp\Touch

Mine was set at 0 by default. I tried various values up to 64 (highest value) and I found that 16 felt the most natural. Hope this helps! Made this tablet even better!
