    powercfg /batteryreport
    powercfg /sleepstudy

then go to File, Save as and save this as battery.bat

Now close those files down and right click battery.bat and run as administrator and the above commands will run and helpfully put the reports on your desktop which you can then quickly load in your default web browser which should save running and then searching for the above manually each time when diagnosing these battery issues.
    Great tip

I have added it to the Tips & Tricks thread for the t100 - thanks for posting it.

See my post above Dare - I can't really explain how to generate those reports any simpler than I have above.

As for that Intel Graphics driver on intel.com, I got a "your computer does not meet the minimum hardware requirements" error when trying to install it so doesn't look like that is going to help!

Here is an example output from the sleep report:

Your T100 is automatically recording all battery information Dare so just use it as you would normally then run that bat file to get the latest versions of your data when you resume from sleep later. Hopefully if a few of us do this we can see if there is a common process / task etc using the battery more than it should when on connected standby.

Ok, then this info should also be added to you tip, eg to use tablet normally, do the tests as one wants (put computer to sleep) and run file after and not before testing.

Ill report back in a few hours, will not put computer into airplane mode, leaving everything as it is and undocked from keyboard

    Yup. That's quite good.

Makes me wonder how many people are using their T100 batteries over and over to test batteries...shortening the overall life of those batteries...

    Just sayin'...
