Got the iso assembled, but when I copy the file over to my flash drive I got an access denied on the last part of the copy.
I may need to get a new flash drive.

used my own iso, worked flawless. ended up leaving recovery as is so could go back to stock if needed, also took a wim backup. took longer to dl and install the drivers than anything else.

    Open Elevated (important) Command Prompt

    1. diskpart
    2. list disk
    • Find the # of the appropriate disk, i.e., the one that's size matches the USB drive you popped in. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS STEP
    3. select disk #
    4. clean (this will wipe the USB drive clean)
    5. create partition primary
    6. format fs=fat32 quick
    7. active
    8. assign
    9. list volume (just as a reference so you can see the newly created volume and drive letter)
    10. exit

If using Windows 7 currently(on the machine you used above), you will need to extract the ISO using something like 7zip.
If using Windows 8 currently(on the machine you used above), you can Mount the ISO from within Windows Explorer.

Once you have done one of the above, open Windows Explorer to the path of the extracted\mounted ISO, as well as a new Window for the Bootable USB drive you created.

    Extracted\Mount Explorer Window
    1. Select All
    2. Copy

    Bootable USB Explorer Window
    1. Paste

**/In Step 2 Under The Elevated Command Prompt, I Am Not Responsible If You Wipe Clean A Driver Other Than You Intended/**

The easiest way to create bootable usb is using adata utility OStoGO Valuable Software_Downloads_Support_ADATA Technology ...download, install (it says it is only for windows 7 but it also works for windows 8) plug in your usb key, insert windows DVD or mount iso image with virtual drive and hit create button ... wait few minutes and that's it.
