New BIOS 220 update firmware!
-
Nice! Let us know if/when you try it. I hope it fixes stuff before I get mine this week!

Hmm.. I still see 214 on this website...
Can you post a direct link to the file?

I see it under "Bios" in driver and tools.

Yep, I'm there
, but still 214 for me. Maybe it's different depending on the country you're from.

I see it, 2.20.
This is great. I am about to restore my T100 to factory and try disabling some things to avoid freezes I've been having. Maybe this 2.20 BIOS will also help improve things. I am currently at 2.14.
If it's not working stable and clean this week after updating everything, I will send it back next week. Fingers crosses that all goes well.

its on the international site...

will wait a week and see what consensus is. what issues are there with 214? everything seems okay

A lot of people have had varying problems, that nobody can really pinpoint the cause of, but from what I've read while I was lurking it seems to be a consensus that there is some update that totally messes up the tablet, but before the update things aren't working perfectly for many anyway.
So hopefully this BIOS remedies that. Perhaps something with the BIOS interaction with the Windows updates is messing with the sytem, and this 2.20 addresses that.
I am of the mindset that, unlike drivers, manufacturers generally only update the BIOS when they have to (aka when something is wrong), so I think that it is safe to say there is a reason they went through the trouble of making the new one. Hopefully this fixes stuff for some people.
