4GB would be nice but I am very happy with this machine.

Anyone else get the, 'Cannot allocate buffer to store the BIOS file' error? I've refreshed the pc twice, full reinstalled once, and redownloaded the bios files quite a few times.

*edit* attempted a bios flash from inside the bios and now I have a brick. Led light is white when plugged in, but nothing will boot the machine. I've attempted every button combo I can think of and nothing will do much as light up the screen. Any help would be awesome.

Would someone be so kind to upload or post a working link for the updated 216 BIOS? For whatever reason, the ASUS website only lists the old 214 BIOS available for download. Thank You!

You can make that two of us. Support said I was being referred straight to 2nd line but I've heard nothing back

I updated to bios 216 and have had nothing but problems.. apps started crashing all the time, I was getting errors on downloads from app store and some looping restarts too. It has cleared up some since reinstalling windows, but it's still hit or miss. I have tried to go back to 214 but winflash wont let me install an older bios. Don't know what else to do except hope a new, improved version comes out soon.

I'd advise others to stay away from 216..

That's odd. I've been running 216 since it came out with no issues whatsoever. In fact, it took care of any issues I had with the T100.

However, with all the reports of bricking and since Asus has taken it down, I must be one of the lucky ones.

I am running 216 also, no issues. Didn't seem to help or hurt anything. Although I didn't notice that issue with the audio static when the screen shuts off until after I flashed 216. But I never tested it before the flash.

Same here. I updated with no problems and battery life and charging times are much better. But it always seems to be a crap shoot with any computer updates these days no matter who is releasing them.
