HDMI to VGA output to TV and Charger questions

What do I need to pump the t100t to a tv or projector? can i use my microusb MHL HDMI adapter from my samsung note 2? would that work?

or is there a way to pump the t100t to VGA somehow

also can i use the charger that came with my samsung note 2 phone?

    it looks almost identical
    100-240
    50-60 hz
    5v .07a

i think it will work but just alot slower is that a correct assumption?

    thanks

    Hi,

Mine arrives tomorrow but I can help with your questions.

MHL will not work, it needs a mirco hdmi cable or you can use an adaptor to normal hdmi. Not sure about vga sorry.

Yes a 2A note 2 or note 3 charger will work. The stock t100 charger is 5volt 2A so its fine.

The T100 has a micro HDMI port, it means it has a smaller version of the HDMI port, so all you need for HDMI out is a micro HDMI to HDMI cable (or just have a micro HDMI to HDMI adapter plug on one end of the cable) to go from the smaller size to the full size to connect it to a regular HDMI monitor, projector, tv, etc.

While HDMI is digital and VGA is analog, thus that one needs a active adapter/converter to change the output signal...

Yes, that should work... just mind that VGA has no audio... So you'll have to run aux from the headphone jack and make the internal speakers the default instead of the HDMI output for audio... Or you can opt for one of the pricier converter boxes that splits the HDMI audio to a audio jack...

For HDMI, it's already HDMI but it's just a smaller micro HDMI connector... So you either get a port adapter that changes it to a full size HDMI port plug or get a dedicated cable with both connector types on either end... The adapter could be cheaper if you already have a HDMI cable... be careful not to spend too much on the cable, some companies like Monster way over charge!

Yes, you would be good to go... but, depending on the monitor the view may be boxed or full screen...

I got the the micro digital to VGA Asus part # 90-XB2UOKCA00110-

like you mention on my tv it gives me a center picture with black borders all around. anyway to fix that and stretch it full screen? if so do it on the TV side or the t100ta side? i played around with the display settings on the t100ta to no avail.

    thanks!
