    Drivers

Is anyone able to backup the drivers and upload them somewhere? Actually no idea how you do this, I know there are some tools to make backups of drivers but I guess most people dont have them, I dunno? If asking for copies of drivers is against forum rules, sorry, and please delete my thread ha.
Wont go through my problems again but asus wont touch the repairs even though everything shows I have an international warranty. Even the box it came in.
I know I can post it back across the atlantic but ive paid VAT fees, postage and well, im quite happy to tinker with it and install drivers.
As asus wouldnt touch it, I have a fresh windows 8.1 installed and have 12 unknown devices.
Quite happy to pay for someones time via paypal
    Many thanks

Tried installing the ASUS Live Update tool from the ASUS site? T100TA - Notebooks & Ultrabooks - ASUS

That might be able to pull some of them down.

Failing that can you let us know which ones you're missing, preferably with the VendorID and DeviceID and it should be possible to track most of them down.

Bit daft to erase the OS and the Recovery partition without taking an image of it first though.

Hi, thanks, I did try that utility, it just said no updates available. The recovery partition wasn't working, , thats kinda where the problems started. Asus woukdnt repair it. But they advised they had lots of issues with 8.1 and why dont I go out and purchase a windows 8 disk or get microsoft to downgrade my licence to 8.0. Maybe not the best advice ha, windows 8 , well barely anything was found.
The touch screen doesn't work, neither does the sound.
Theres a long list of vendir id's tho :-(
    Ven 8086 dev 0f18
    Int 3400
    Invn 6500
    Int 0002
    Int 33fd
    8086 0f0a
    Int 3407
    Int 33bd
    Int 3406
    8086 0f0e
    10ec 5640

I think 10ec is realtek and related to the sound. 8086 and int are for intel, the 0f range seem to be related to valleyview stuff.

Tried lots of things, searching through intel and realtek driver packages, inf files and so on. I think I got the int 3400, 3406, 3407 matched up. And the 10ec 5640 but still no sound.

Its a wee bit of a mess ha. Frustrating tho. Asus have a full driver package on their site for the vivotab smart, but nothing for the t100.
Id quite happily oay 20 quid if someone took an hour to collect the drivers , guess im getting desperate ha. I just want to touch my screen. And maybe have some sound.

Just another bump. Found this freeware program that allows you to backup and save your drivers in one go.

BooZet Freeware | Double Driver - backup and restore installed drivers

Again, willing to pay for anyones time rather than waiting weeks for asus to sort out warranty disputes.

Happy to run that on mine and give you a download link if it'll help.

If anyone needs intel drivers for baytrail etc, due to a messed up system or fresh usb 8.1 install, they are now on the dell venue pro 8 website

Drivers & Downloads | Dell US

    And they work
