Question T100TA - Gaming Disaster...aka Keyboard Multiple Buttons Not At The Same Time

I'm puzzled to understand how anybody is playing any sort of game on this tablet. The keyboard simply does not allow multiple presses in any FPS game or other games as well.

Nobody has this issue? Every time I read a lonely post on the subject, there is no explanation: technical or simple. There's simply no information and no answer to the question asked. Anybody?

    Thanks for any help!

P.S. I can use a USB/Bluetooth keyboard with no issue. Also, the USB Keyboard works fine and that is older than 15 years. It's very frustrating.

    Welcome to the forum

Gamer specific keyboards are a really big market, for a reason. They are also fairly pricey.

I've played GRiD and Dust with my keyboard and both have worked fine. But realistically I'm probably only pressing 2 buttons at most simultaneously. Are you trying to press more?

Like I said, it seems to be a multi press problem. It's when you press 3 or more like ctrl to shoot and move with WASD at the same time. If I plugin a 15 year keyboard and that works like a charm, then it's not a normal issue. I'm afraid they "cheaped" out on the keyboard. If you play with a mouse it's more tolerable. It's definitely made me not want to ever buy an Asus Tablet ever again. I've removed the keyboard driver, but reinstalled it's the same issue.

I'm over it now. Just wanted to say it's a dead end. No information exists from official sources on the issue.

The issue you encounter is not a problem of the asus but of USB keyboards in general. I don't know the exact technical details but it has to do with the way the keyboad matrix works in USB keyboards. PS2 keyboards dont have this issue and more high end USB keyboards like gaming keyboards use tricks to eliminate this issue but its certainly not an Asus transformer only issue.
