TA100TA NO battery in windows - help!
Hi,
I just updated Windows to latest version on a T100TA-C1-RD(S) and said yes to updating drivers. After reboot Windows 10 says no battery installed.
I have tried removing the 'Microsoft AC Adapter' device but no joy. I have updated the ATKPackage to 1.0.0050 but again no joy.
How do I get Windows to recognise their is a battery inside?

Solved!!
Needed to download and install the Windows 8.1 32-bit SOC Driver package.

I had a similar problemafter a clean reinstall of Win 10 Home. But instead of downloading ASUS drivers, I looked in Windows Update optional updates - - addidtional drivers. I downloaded everything and this fixed all my issues. The hotkeys don't work except for the volume ones but that's no worry.

Why did the hotkeys didn't work?

There was never an official update from ASUS to win10 most issues can be solved by using the win8.1 drivers.
