Charging only the minimum required by computer.

    Hello all

Considering that it is advisable to keep battery charge at around 50%, I am thinking to do this (when using plugged for long periods):
start using computer with 50% charge, check the discharge rate (example: 0,9 A)and then plug a charger that can provide a similar rate (example: 1A) in order to keep the battery charge near to 50% as long as possible. Then, after powering off computer, unplug charger.

Can it be a good solution to preserve battery ?

    No

Batteries need to be used - not abused. Charge it, use it to around 50% & then charge it again.
Don't use it plugged in for long periods

A simple, effective, time tested, regimen for battery use is...
    Charge it to full overnight
Use it during the day, only adding to the charge if the device falls below 20%

See the link in my signature to Battery University... It will give you a better understanding of the battery used in modern tablet computers.
